Basically "ayah lawd" is a personal online journal where I share with the world the weird,creepy, hilarious, boring, astonishing and just plain unbelievable encounters of my 'normal every day' life. This can involve interesting things I've seen on the web or laughable moments at KFC. Similarly as a human mind has no limit in thought so does this blog in terms of content. Because my life includes everything I see, hear, feel, and even smell, you can bet you'll be saying "ayah lawd" alot.
So....some of you special viewers are probably wondering what does these weird sounding words "ayah lawd" mean. Infact maybe curiosity has already made you google it only to end up no where or back here ( I know this is true because I tried googling it myself). Now "ayah lawd" is a phrase most common amongst Caribbean people, especially those from the eastern Caribbean, that expresses one's astonishment over a situation. For example you're second in queue at a cash machine and all of a sudden someone cuts infront of you just as its your turn and you mutter out an "ayah lawd" orrrr your friend tells you some shocking news and your so lost for words that all you can mutter out is "ayah lawd." By now you should be going "ohhhhh I get it," and if your still unsure then simply put.... "ayah lawd" is basically a synonym to phrases like "wow," "oh my god, no way," etc.
